About Us

Abhimanch

In 2018, a group of like-minded theater enthusiasts came together with a shared passion for storytelling, and thus, Abhimanch was born. Over the past six years, we have consistently delighted audiences with a diverse repertoire of Marathi and Hindi plays, ranging from timeless classics to contemporary pieces. Our productions include the powerful 3-act drama Twelve by Reginald Rose, the thought-provoking 1-act play Victim by Vijay Tendulkar, and the heartfelt Melya Aaicha Chaha by Chandrashekhar Fansalkar. Additionally, our portfolio boasts a series of engaging comedy skits, showcasing our versatility across genres.

At Abhimanch, we embrace the vibrancy of theater in all its forms, whether it’s drama, comedy, or experimental storytelling. While our focus remains on Marathi and Hindi plays, we are equally enthusiastic about exploring works in English, making our performances accessible to a wider audience. We believe that theater is a universal language, transcending barriers to evoke emotions, provoke thought, and create lasting impressions.

Our commitment extends beyond just putting up performances. Abhimanch is dedicated to nurturing new talent every year, providing a platform for emerging actors, writers, and directors to showcase their skills. We believe in the power of collaboration, fostering a creative space where seasoned performers and newcomers alike can come together to learn, grow, and bring compelling stories to life.

As we look to the future, Abhimanch is driven by a vision to not only entertain but also inspire, challenge, and connect with audiences. Our journey is a testament to the enduring magic of live theater, and we invite you to be a part of our story as we continue to explore the rich tapestry of human experience through the stage.
